now that would be a good app note for Xilxin to write. What do you mean by Free VM? Ok, That sounds like a good idea. By VM, sorry my IT background there , a virtual machine, such as virtual box, et all, there are many of them available. I installed Labtools in VirtualBox 6. It wasn't able to intall the drivers during the intallation.

Also, I wasn't able to get a free webpack license because the Network ID was all zeros. How do I correct these issues? What do you mean by a USB NIC? Do you mean a USB wireless adapter? I am concerned about posting my work network information, so I XX out some of the numbers. All the values values seemed reasonalble. There aren't any all zero values a mentioned by the installation program. Also, do you know why xlinx drivers were not installed during the installation?

So, I suggest you to use USB NIC as license server's key. Would you try it? Perhaps, you are facing eth0 issue NIC device name issue , if yes, would you share the following result?

Hi shallphe3 I'm sure that it's flexlm issue eth0 issue. Here is solution. Solution A Change device name form enp0s3 to eth0. Solution B Upgrade flexlm to as possible as latest version. But it's difficult. It might be obsoleted word They include USB wireless adapter. You can choose USB wireless adapter or USB wired network adapter. It might be USB issue on VirtualBox.
